Session for Class 8 Boys – Understanding Teenage   Changes and WellbeingResource Person: Dr. Nischintha

A special awareness session on “Understanding Teenage Changes and Wellbeing” was conducted for the boys of Class 8 by the “YI – Thalir Team”. The session aimed to help students understand the physical, emotional, and psychological changes that occur during adolescence, and to guide them in maintaining overall wellbeing.

The resource persons from explained the various changes that take place during puberty in a clear and age-appropriate manner. Topics such as growth and development, personal hygiene, emotional balance, and the importance of healthy habits were discussed. The students were also guided on managing stress, building self-confidence, and developing positive relationships with peers and family.

Session for Class 8 Girls – Menstrual Health Awareness — Resource Person: Dr. Gayathri                                                                 

A special awareness session on “Menstrual Hygiene” was conducted for the girls of Class 8 by the “YI – Thalir Team”. The session aimed to educate students about menstruation, personal hygiene, and the importance of maintaining good health during menstrual periods.

The resource persons from the “YI – Thalir Team” explained the biological process of menstruation in a clear and friendly manner. They highlighted the importance of using clean sanitary products, maintaining personal hygiene, and disposing of sanitary materials properly. The students were also guided on healthy food habits, physical care, and ways to manage discomfort during menstruation.
